Regression Testing

A regression test suite is developed using test cases that were run against an application. This test suite is then used to validate newer versions and after adding new features to the application under test. If an old bug reappears, the QA team will quickly identify them using this regression test suite.

The most efficient way to manage regression testing is to automate them. Testing regression manually and running the same tests again and again, the tester could easily overlook errors. Automated functional and regression testing solutions such as Mercury QuickTest Professional™ or Mercury WinRunner™ generate scripts by recording user actions against the application under test. These scripts then are enhanced with different input data and various checkpoints are inserted. As the product matures, new tests are added, but the old tests are kept too.

eProdix has the expert technical knowledge of various environments and automation solutions. We will develop robust, reliable and reusable automated test scripts for your regression testing project.

Environments & Applications under test are mostly dynamic in their content and behaviour. eProdix creates intelligent scripts that can adapt to this dynamic test scenarios so that you have minimum maintenance efforts.

eprodix specialises in frameworks, reducing the complexity of the regression testing cycle. We focus on keywords and data controlled modular scripts, which has minimum of administrative expense for reusability in regression testing.

Our modular approach to testing promotes small-reusable tests to make regression suites, instead of fewer large tests. This not only helps isolate errors, but protects against simulation platform crashes and allows using more than one machine for doing the regression simulation.
